SAN RAMON, CA, June 22, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kevin R. Draper, DDS, the father in the father-son dental team at Draper Family Dentistry, has always prided himself on using the latest technology to diagnose and treat patients. Now, he is using technology in a different way: To interact and update patients using social media platforms. His San Ramon, California dentist practice utilizes social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and a personal blog to share messages with his patients.

The practice's Facebook page shares important information on office hours, questions and answers concerning dental procedures, such as sleep apnea treatments, answers about porcelain veneers and much more. The Facebook page also features photos of key events at Draper Family Dentistry, including office get-togethers.

Dr. Draper also invites his patients to share their experiences at his San Ramon cosmetic dentist office, both on the office Facebook page as well as through networking sites such as Google+. He aso has an active Twitter account at the Twitter handle @KevinRDraper. There, patients can find short bits of information and links to relevant news and websites for patients that could help them learn about key services and achieving healthier teeth.

"I love interacting with my patients in person, and appreciate the benefits of interacting and sharing information via the Internet," explains Dr. Draper, a San Ramon cosmetic dentist. "Educating my patients is also very important to me, and I feel the websites and social media outlets provide another route to accomplish this."

Dr. Draper also answers questions via his blog, which is available from the Draper Family Dentistry homepage. This blog features information on important dental health topics, such as preventing oral cancer, symptoms of gum disease and how genetics and family history can affect your dental health.

"I and my office staff update this site regularly so patients can read the latest health information and well-researched health advice," Dr. Draper says. "In a time where there is so much information available on the Internet -- and not all of it accurate -- I want my patients to know they can rely on our site to find valuable information."

Dr. Draper also invites patients to review his dental practice via the "Review Us" button at the bottom of his home page. The "Five Stars" icon will direct you to several sites where you can review his physician practice, such as Yahoo!, Yelp, Kudzu and Merchant Circle. He and his entire staff truly read these reviews and take each item of feedback seriously.

"We care what our patients have to say," Dr. Draper says. "We appreciate the time they take to let us know what we are doing well, and what we could improve upon."
