The new recruits are husband and wife team Mike and Sarah Saladino, Michelle Orton Loftus, Michael Volpe and Arielle Turover. They are residential sales specialists serving Chicago-area home buyers, sellers and investors.
Mike and Sarah Saladino are a husband and wife duo that joined Dream Town as part of the SwakeGroup, a five-member realtor team headed up by Todd Szwajkowski that also includes Amie Klujian and Liz LaTour. In addition to being a licensed realtor, Mr. Saladino is also a sergeant with the Chicago Police Department. He has been on the force for 10 years and believes his time in the department has led to a thorough familiarity and understanding of Chicago's various neighborhood markets.
Michelle Orton Loftus is a licensed attorney who practiced real estate law for more than 14 years before moving into residential sales. Ms. Loftus has been with Dream Town since August and said of her decision to join the brokerage, "Dream Town's technology and Internet presence are vastly superior. I believe the company's customer-driven web focus will best serve the needs of my clients and their real estate goals."
Ms. Loftus' knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods is extensive. She has helped clients buy and sell real estate in neighborhoods across the city and has lived and worked in many of the city's North Side communities, as well as the South Loop and downtown. She also represents clients in suburban markets such as Oak Park, Berwyn, River Forest, Forest Park and Evanston. Ms. Loftus has several professional designations, including Certified Distressed Properties Expert (CDPE) and the National Association of Realtors' GREEN certification.
Michael Volpe has been in real estate since 2006 and has a particular handle on Chicago's foreclosure market. Mr. Volpe's previous job as a valuation officer developed his ability to read the real estate market and assess the potential value of a property. "I'm in a niche where I can help clients find investment deals, either to rehab and live in or rent for income," said Mr. Volpe. "I also provide quality customer service to buyers looking for that perfect, move-in ready home or sellers who want to do a traditional sale."
Arielle Turover was an agent with Dream Town for several years before she moved to Israel in 2010. She was recognized as a Chicago Association of Realtors' Top Producer in 2009 and is now back with the Chicago-based brokerage as a residential sales consultant. Ms. Turover has a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and two masters' from Gratz College in Philadelphia.
