/24-7PressRelease/ - LAWRENCEVILLE, GA, September 06, 2008 - Please join Driving Magic, Inc. at Magnolia Hall for their biggest event of the year, their 5th Annual BBQ Fundraiser. Along with great Georgia barbeque, live music and a silent auction, they will have a Children's Carnival and balloon pop. Their first ever Duck Derby will be officiated by Mayor Bill Copenhaver of Hoschton and Gwinnett County Commissioner and former Mayor of Duluth, Shirley Fanning-Lasseter. You will meet several of their special equines and each guest will take home a CD with a photo of you and a Driving Magic horse, taken by a professional equine photographer.
Ticket donation is $20 per person (there is no ticket donation for children under 13) and includes a photo CD. All ticket orders of $100 or more, receive 10 free carnival tickets and one entry in the Duck Derby.
Your Contributions to Driving Magic Inc. Enable Us To:
• Serve over 150 children and adults with disabilities
• Provide board, medical and supplies for 7 horses
• Acquire teaching aids and supplies to support over 1000 lesson hours annually
• Certify and maintain credentials for six instructors through NARHA
• Enhance our sensory integration trail, the first of its type in the United States
• Maintain and enhance custom-built accessible carriages
• Maintain a competition-sized arena and miles of carriage-accessible trails
• Provide scholarships to participants in need of financial assistance
• Launch Horses for Heroes in 2008 to support disabled veterans and their families
