/24-7PressRelease/ - LAS VEGAS, NV, March 26, 2008 - Children ran out of their homes, and adults broke into tears when three vans pulled up to several run down neighborhoods in Las Vegas giving out free Easter baskets on Good Friday.

"The baskets are free?" asked Raquel Quintero in Spanish? "Who would be so kind to do this? Nobody does this kind of stuff anymore," said Tion Reiner, who cried when her kids were handed baskets.

"The kindness came from the generous Las Vegas community," said E Bunny founder and coordinator Barbara Kenig. For 18 years, E Bunny has collected baskets from businesses, churches, and individuals, and delivered them to organizations, agencies and individuals whose children wouldn't have baskets at Easter.

Nearly 1300 baskets were distributed to Straight From The Streets, The Las Vegas Rescue Mission, The Las Vegas City Mission, Sunrise Children's Hospital, the Las Vegas Housing Authority, Safe House, Family Promise, Nevada Social Services, and other groups requesting baskets for their children.

"This kind of success was made possible by our generous community" said Kenig, who was taken back by the response to the program. "Without help from the following businesses, individuals and churches, the program couldn't have happened:
