Eagle Technology Receives 2017 Milwaukee 7 Export Development Grant

Eagle Technology announces they are a recipient of a Milwaukee 7 (M7) International Export Development grant. The Milwaukee 7 Export Development Grant Program awards funds to companies new to export as well as existing exporters.

MILWAUKEE, WI, December 08, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eagle Technology, an international developer of Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, announces they are a recipient of a Milwaukee 7 (M7) International Export Development grant.

The Milwaukee 7, in collaboration with JPMorgan Chase, offers the Export Development Grant Program to help companies selling a proprietary product line, and service-based companies grow in international trade. The Export Development Grant Program awards funds to companies in Southeastern Wisconsin, both new to export as well as existing exporters, to take advantage of opportunities in international markets and to overcome obstacles.

Eagle Technology will utilize the grant funds for international market expansion of the Proteus CMMS service and product offerings in the North American markets of Canada and Mexico. The CMMS market is a steadily growing market in North America and data shows that North America is expected to have the largest market share and is projected to dominate the market from 2017 to 2022. With the proliferation of cloud computing and the Internet of Things, businesses of every size and scope are flocking to a CMMS for improved efficiency and cost savings.

Today's facility managers face many challenges that not only make it difficult to operate a building efficiently but also increase the risks to the facility, especially in aging buildings. It is estimated that 75% of the buildings that will be occupied in 2050 have already been built today. This means that with little or no new construction on the horizon, building managers must create greater efficiencies in existing facilities.

While many small businesses are aware that international expansion offers them big opportunities for their companies, understanding how to move through expansion, and finding the initial capital to do so, can be complex. International regulations and upfront costs can be intimidating. The M7 program combines necessary funding with mentorship and guidance that can help a business nimbly takes advantage of the opportunities involved with international expansion.

Eagle Technology has a history of offering its Proteus CMMS product line to companies in order to help them reduce downtime and keep their operations running at peak efficiency. Proteus CMMS helps clients collect the Big Data that results from running a complex manufacturing operation and distill it down into understandable reports that give companies all the information they need to make the right decisions for ongoing efficiency and profitability.

By expanding their vision in the North American markets of Canada and Mexico, Eagle Technology hopes to grow connections with clients that are currently underserved by the CMMS offerings in their own areas. Grant funds will also be used to develop a relationship with a partner and distribution channel in each country.
