eBay, Amazon, Overstock, Bizrate, Yahoo to Gather at PESA Summit

www.gopsesa.org), a trade association of online merchants, announced the agenda for its Spring 2005 Summit sponsored by Ethical Technologies which is being held in Atlanta, Georgia on March 19th and 20th. PESA hosts a summit twice a year and the Atlanta gathering will be the third and largest to date.
"Interest in PESA has soared over the past few months" said Jonathan Garriss, Executive Director of PESA, "and registration for Atlanta is already 3 times what we had for our Las Vegas event. I'm delighted that so many people have realized the unique opportunity our summits represent to provide a first-of-its-kind interactive forum between major online marketplaces and the world's largest independent merchants."
Representatives from a number of premier online marketplaces, including eBay, Amazon, Overstock, Yahoo and Bizrate will join PESA in Atlanta. The two day summit will allow these representatives to interact directly with the PESA members who supply their sites with product.
"PESA members have been supplying a number of online marketplaces with a high volume of quality merchandise," said Mr. Garriss. "You read about the explosive growth that sites like eBay have seen over the past few years, and it is merchants like PESA members who are powering much of that growth."
