Ecapay Announces Contribution to Wokai to Help Entrepreneurs in Rural China.
Donation Will Help Provide Micro-Financing for Farmers
Ecapay Charity, the charity initiative of Ecapay, today announced a generous contribution to Wokai.org.
Wokai is an online organization focused on providing micro-financing in China. Ecapay is an Asia Payment Gateway Solution Provider. This contribution expands an ongoing working relationship between Ecapay Charity and Wokai to help the poor in rural China.
"This contribution will help Wokai to provide micro-financing to deserving entrepreneurs in rural China, giving them a unique opportunity to succeed," said Elvin S., of Ecapay. "This contribution is in keeping with Ecapay's mission to improve the lives of all individuals by contributing a portion of our proceeds to worthy organizations such as Wokai."
Wokai, which is Mandarin Chinese for "I start," provides micro-loans in rural China. The organization's mission is to enable people in rural China to start or expand businesses, which will lift themselves and their families out of poverty. By providing the financing for these micro-entrepreneurs to start small businesses, they are enabled to initiate positive change in their own lives.

Ecapay's previous contributions to Wokai have supported new and expanded endeavors in agriculture, as the loans were used to purchase cows, sheep, pigs and poultry for breeding; to buy feed and grain; and to build new homes and barns. The recipients of these loans have been able to create farms that can support them and their families.
Ecapay Charity plans to direct future proceeds to additional projects, including building a school to educate the children of poor, rural villagers.
