Leaving behind a career in finance to focus on a different kind of 'green', company founder
Selena Volodzskis launched the eCommerce site Global Enfant (www.globalenfant.com) in 2006
to provide "Stylish, Earth-Friendly Essentials for Mama, Baby & Child". Always on the prowl for
innovative new products that met her 'green' criteria, Selena spent countless hours each season
attending trade shows and education events to provide her retail customers with the latest
information on sustainability practices as well as the safest products for their families. Finding the
demand for green products to outpace supply, Selena looked to her husband's experience in
wholesale manufacturing to branch out into the wholesale market, and Eco Brands was born.
Eco Brands searches the globe to find the best eco-friendly baby products available, and supplies
wholesale buyers in the USA and Canada with sustainable brands. In 2010, Eco Brands will
expand distribution into Mexico and Latin America.
Selena Volodzskis - Founder, CEO
Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Selena attended CSU Monterey Bay and made a
career in consumer finance before moving into the retail/wholesale field in 2006. Involved in day
to day operations of both Global Enfant and Eco Brands, Selena is also working on her Masters
in Midwifery.
Johny Volodzskis - VP eCommerce
An avid surfer, Johny made his way to the United States from his native Uruguay via Hawaii.
Having founded two manufacturing companies and with a background in computer programming,
Johny heads the technical and logistical operations of Eco Brands.
