Edward Armato, chief school administrator for Creative Achievement Academy, has been named
Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of special education administration.
As chief school administrator for
Creative Achievement Academy, Armato is responsible for improving the quality of
education received by the academically challenged teenaged students at the academy. Prior to serving in his current capacity, Armato was a director of
special education. Creative Achievement Academy is a
private school for individuals with
disabilities. The academy provides a core curriculum, individualized instruction,
social and
vocational skills development programs,
health services and
counseling.
Armato received his masters degree in special education plus 45 credits from William Paterson University in 1977 and his bachelor of arts in education administration from Rowan University in 1968. He is a member of the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association, New Jersey Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and Council for Exceptional Children.
