- Rolling Meadows, IL, July 5, 2008, Edward Goodman, Deputy Chief of the Rolling Meadows Police Department, has been recognized by

A 24-year veteran of law enforcement, Mr. Goodman excels in policy development and training. As deputy chief, he is responsible for overseeing administrative duties including budgeting, recruiting, grant writing, community planning, and organizing promotional activities. Prompt to join the police force by a strong desire to be of service to his community, Mr. Goodman also volunteers with local charitable organizations.
Mr. Goodman earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from National-Louis University in 2001. His professional affiliations include the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime, the Police Executive Research Forum, and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association. He aspires to take on an executive position in the private sector in the next five years.
