A recognized trial attorney throughout the state of Kansas, Mr. Hund is the founder of his firm, Edward J. Hunt, Trial Attorney. Boasting more than 30 years of experience, he specializes in various forms of personal injury law, including automobile, truck, and motorcycle accidents, medical negligence, and nursing home claims. Involved in some of the most highly profiled cases in the state, Mr. Hund has settled millions of dollars over the years as a result of his tenacity.

Admitted to practice by the Kansas Bar Association and the U.S. District Court, Mr. Hund first acquired a Bachelor of Art in Political Science in 1967 at Fort Hays State University, followed by a JD at Washburn University in 1971. Immediately following his JD, he began working as an assistant county attorney for Sedgwick County in Wichita, Kansas. He then worked as an associate attorney with Smith, Shay, Farmer & Wetta before making partner three years later. By 1984, Mr. Hund had become partner at Focht, Hughey & Hund, where he remained until the formation of his private practice.

Mr. Hund served as the president of the Kansas chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, as well as on the board of governors of the American Trial Lawyers Association, and as president of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. He has also been recognized as secretary-treasurer of the Kansas Bar Association and president of the Legacy of Justice Foundation.

Highlighted in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America numerous times, he is married to Marty M.
