ATLANTA, GA, November 14, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Edward "Ted" Kloss, President of APT Planning & Design, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of design development.

Mr. Kloss has more then 36 years of professional experience. He prides his firm in its repeat business through team participation in making it a primary goal to ensure client satisfaction at each step of the design process: APT - appropriate design, A Perfect Team! His responsibilities include managing all operations from project programming to space planning, design development, and bid and construction contract document preparation.

A product of the Auburn University School of Architecture, Interior Design, and Building Technology, with an initial interest in architecture, he turned to interior design, realizing that the importance of the details in working and living environments are derived from gaining an in-depth understanding of how interior spaces are to be used and equipped. He is most proud of the 10 years he spent as interior design consultant to The Augusta National Golf Club.

Mr. Kloss earned his Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design in 1971 and is affiliated with the International Interior Design Association. Serving as an adjunct professor at the American College in the late 70's (now A.I.U.), he aspires to return to teaching again at the college level.
