Egbert John Serrao, MD, Celebrates 25 Years of Compassionate Care

    ORLANDO, FL, July 29, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Egbert John Serrão, MD, FACOG, FAACS, FAAAAM, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in obstetrics, gynecology, cosmetic-plastic gynecology, cosmetic surgery of the female patient and anti-aging medicine.

Dr. Serrão has been practicing for more than 20 years as a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He opened the expansion of his practice, Serrão Rejuvenation Center, in 1999 to specialize in cosmetic-plastic gynecology, cosmetic surgery of the female patient, and anti-aging medicine as he understands that today's woman wants to look good and feel good. After delivering more than 6,000 babies over the course of his career, he made the difficult decision that his last delivery will be in December of this year. In addition to his responsibilities at his two practices, Dr. Serrão also currently serves as an associate clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine.

Dr. Serrão received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed a residency at Maryland General Hospital where he was chief resident and was recognized as 'Resident of the Year'. After his training, he returned to Orlando and established his private practice, E. John Serrão, MD, FACOG, in 1991. His training includes obstetrics, gynecology, cosmetic-plastic gynecology, cosmetic surgery of the female patient, and anti-aging medicine. His previous training and expertise with intra-abdominal lasers, laparoscopic surgery, and precise injection techniques assisted him in the transition into his cosmetic practice, along with many hours of continuing medical education.
