/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Ekaterina Arnaoutova, Performer with Cirque du Soleil, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Entertainment. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.
A third-generation performer, Ekaterina Arnaoutova lends over 23 years of industry experience to the circus arts. Now celebrating her fourth year with the entertainment company, Cirque du Soleil, she specializes in aerial acrobatics, demonstrating on a daily basis the skills she has honed growing up in the Russian Arnaoutov circus family. Prior to joining Cirque, Ms. Arnaoutova performed with a number of major entertainment companies around the world including the Moscow Circus and the Children's Starlight Foundation - a well respected charity.
Having achieved a myriad of vocational highlights, Ms. Arnaoutova considers performing in Cirque de Soleil's "LOVE" show to have been especially rewarding. She is part in this tribute to the Beatles in Las Vegas, one of the most successful shows in the world, and has also featured in "Nouvelle Experience" and "Fascination." Ms. Arnaoutova credits her career choice to the inspiration she received from her parents, who are talented performers. In addition to determination, she regards unwavering perseverance to be the driving force behind her success. She notes that she has accumulated a great deal of priceless knowledge from circus performers in her family as well as in the worldwide entertainment industry. Moving forward in her career, she intends to continue participating in shows that amaze, touch and mesmerize audiences. Ms. Arnaoutova hopes to continue to evolve, create, transform and improve herself as a performer.
