CHICAGO, IL, June 05, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ekwity Investments started as a dream job for Brandon Connell, owner. As a Chicago native, he naturally began investing in Illinois, slowly dipping his feet into the Iowa market.
Now, a force in the city of Chicago, and the Quad Cities area of West Central Illinois, Ekwity Investments has expanded to invest in multiple cities in every state. The majority of investments are wholesale deals, with an occasional flip in Illinois and Iowa.
"Most wholesalers limit themselves to their local area. I am more of a virtual wholesaler, and I don't like leaving opportunities on the table", says Brandon.
A wholesaler is a real estate investor that works with cash buyers. Often these cash buyers are rehabbers, or flippers. Sometimes they are landlords looking for a buy and hold property. Wholesalers locate the deals, place offers on them, and sell the contracts to their cash buyers who then close on the property. This process is called "an assignment".
Brandon Connell began investing in real estate over a decade ago. His experience started out in the world of creative financing. His passion for real estate began after reading Robert Kiyosaki's, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", and Robert G. Allen's, "Nothing Down". While family and friends consistently told him to wise up and quit dreaming, he shrugged them off as brainwashed by society and the public school system, and pursued real estate investment anyway. His first purchase proved the nay-sayers wrong when he acquired a 5,000 square foot mansion for just $40,000 without using any cash out of pocket. The purchase was entirely seller financed over a long time-period, and was a true "no money down deal".
Ekwity Investments helps distressed sellers who are in pre-foreclosure, divorce, retiring, dealing with bad tenants, and a number of other situations by making cash offers on their homes. They pride themselves on having a large number of cash buyers in their network, which enables them the ability to get to close quickly.
