    FARIBAULT, MN, November 30, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Elaine M. Kenow Beaupre with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Kenow Beaupre celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. A retired chamber of commerce executive, Ms. Kenow Beaupre has spent much of her career in local government. In 1984, she landed her first role with the Faribault Chamber of Commerce, located in Faribault, MN, as an executive assistant. She made such an impression that within just a year she had advanced into the role of executive director of the chamber and the Faribault Tourism Bureau, a role she held for another 11 years until she officially retired in 1997.

Ms. Kenow Beaupre chose a career that enabled her to follow her heart and do what she loved. She initially began working in the '50s for her family's shoe business in Fairboult, the Karps Shoe Store, which operated for 75 years. In 1956 she became a medical secretary and later as a medical assistant for two local doctor's offices. She went on to work as an office manager, bookkeeper, and surgery scheduler for the St. Paul Minnesota Lowry Medical Arts Building, later as manager and bookkeeper for Town and Country, Inc. Ms. Kenow Beaupre also worked in sales for over a decade before becoming an assistant manager for a local deli in Minnesota, a position she held for five years before being recruited by the Faribault Chamber. When she decided to retire, she kept busy by working for five years as a preschool teacher's aide at Peace Lutheran School in Faribault. She also began working part-time back in sales as a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics and has been doing it ever since.

Ms. Kenow Beaupre helped to create Faribault Festivals Inc,. and was a consultant and advisory board member for the Sales & Marketing Technical Institute, the Small Business Development Center, and the Southeast Minnesota Private Industry Council. She also served as a member of the planning committee for the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce as well as its tourism bureau. Ms. Kenow Beaupre was an executive board member and vice president of the Old Log Landing Association, and president and treasurer of the Southeast Minnesota Executive Chamber Association. She currently serves as the public relations secretary for the Middle America Chamber Executive Exchange Club. A big advocate of community, Ms. Kenow Beaupre was also on the board of directors for the Faribault Center Community Support Employment advisory board and on the advisory board of the Rice County Child Care disaster committee, the Downtown Development Committee, and the Historical Society for Alexander Faribault.

Included in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Midwest, and Who's Who of American Women, Ms. Kenow Beaupre is the proud parent of two. She has a daughter, Cheryl Marie, and a son, William Richard, from her first marriage to Richard Thomas Kenow, who passed away in 1964. She remarried James Francis Beaupre in 1988. When she isn't busy with her day to day routine, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loves to knit and go horseback riding.
