/24-7PressRelease/ - New York, NY, August 15, 2008 - Tamarind Art is pleased to announce "Elements of Equilibrium", a captivating exhibition showcasing the works of six prominent Indian sculptors: Vaibhav Jain, Bhupen Barman, Bimal Kundu, Pradip Patra, Anu B.S. and Mehul Patel. These artists, whose works are on display from August 27 until September 13, are interconnected through their utilization of natural materials and metals in their pieces. However, each sculptor retains a decidedly individual perspective and style through their distinctive exploration of medium. The sculptures examine the symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature, ultimately connecting the artist and the viewer to each other and the natural world.
