- Walnut Creek, CA, MN, May 21, 2008, Elizabeth Greening, Registered Nurse for Maxim Health Care, Inc., has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nursing.
With 40 years of experience in the nursing field, Ms. Greening has been an RN for Maxim Health Care, Inc. for four years. She is responsible for caring for diabetic children, giving flu shots and blood tests, and educating patients about diabetes. Prior to joining Maxim Health Care, Inc., Ms. Greening worked as a registered nurse and a licensed professional nurse in hospitals in the Detroit area. She is considered one of the most experienced nurses at Maxim Health Care and is often sent to large corporate offices in the area to administer flu and pneumonia shots.
Ms. Greening prides herself on the extra steps she takes to accommodate her patients, such as doubling her shifts, accompanying them to 12-step programs, making gifts and buying educational materials for those who could not afford them. To stay current with trends in her profession, she reads professional journals and publications and confers with her daughter, an OB/GYN, and her son-in-law, who has his own private practice as a trauma surgeon. She feels that the biggest issue facing the healthcare industry is the public's lack of appreciation of the importance of flu vaccination.
A Licensed Practical Nurse through the Detroit School of Practical Nursing since 1954, Ms. Greening received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Macomb Community College in 1994. She hopes to become more proficient on the computer and continue working as a registered nurse, helping and caring for the public. Ms. Greening contributes regularly to various organizations, including animal welfare organizations. She attributes her success to her caring and helping nature.
