She became involved in her profession because of her love for the arts and attributes her success to her hard work and self-motivation.

A product of The Art Institute of Philadelphia, Ms. Toplin-McShane received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 1987. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America and the Oil Pastel Society. She aspires to gain recognition for her work.
