Ms. Hortolanyi brings out the best in each of her students, teaching piano lessons almost every day after school hours. As a private piano instructor, she currently oversees practices and meetings, manages paperwork for concerts, and consults with clients every two weeks.

Ms. Hortolanyi was born in the Soviet Union in 1961. She became involved in her profession through her family background in music. Before moving to U.S. from Hungary 24 years ago, she wanted to develop a career by the end of eighth-grade.

Hortolanyi received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Section of Miskolc, and her Master's Degree in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music.
