/24-7PressRelease/ -- EMLab P&K and Philders Group International Inc. have formed a strategic alliance to create a risk reduction program for the healthcare industry. The Risk Assessment Program (RAP) will address infection control issues encountered in healthcare facilities during construction and will help individuals working in these facilities to reduce risks. The infection control training and education courses will be offered throughout the U.S. in 2010.
Training courses will be offered as workshops and webinars. Participants will earn continuing education credits through The Linders Health Institute . Our goal is to increase awareness about risk exposures for patients and workers to emerging infectious diseases during healthcare construction. RAP provides tools for reducing risk and managing liability for the healthcare industry. The training courses would benefit Risk Directors, Facility Directors, Property Managers, Architects, Engineers, Environmental Consultants, Mechanical Engineers, Insurance Adjusters, Plumbers, Electricians and Disaster Restoration Contractors.
EMLab P&K has been on the forefront of infectious disease control issues for the healthcare industry as they relate to patient safety. The company has an industry-leading scientific team headed by Dr. Harriet Burge, the company's Director of Aerobiology and Chair of EMLab P&K's Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Burge serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Chapter of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy and Immunology (ACAAI).
Ms. Marlene Linders serves as the President and CEO of Philders Group International Inc. and is a Registered Nurse and Architect.
