ELLESMERE PORT, ENGLAND, July 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) has completed the design and build of a state-of-the-art mobile trailer, which is to be used as a learning centre for Stanley Park High School in Surrey.

The mobile facility - the latest in a series of hi-tech mobile trailer classroom commissions for the company - will be used to deliver a wide range of learning activities and educational opportunities, embracing the schools specialism's of Maths, ICT and Applied Learning.

Equipped with a 65 inch touch screen teaching wall, air conditioning, wired and wireless networks, internet access and full disabled access, the vehicle can comfortably accommodate 15 students at a time. The vehicle will be formally handed over to the school on 11 June.

Stanley Park High is currently being re-built as a new state-of-the-art school on the Orchard Hill site in Carshalton, Surrey. The new facilities will comprise a great array of outdoor and indoor facilities for all subjects, in line with the transformational education agenda. Its new mobile trailer vehicle reflects this transformational approach to learning and will provide state of the art ICT and Media facilities to partner schools and as an extra resource during the construction period.

Alex Thomson, Deputy Head Teacher from Stanley Park High School said: "The new vehicle looks superb, and is already generating a lot of excitement among our staff and students. It gives us a very flexible learning resource. We can use it to deliver a variety of learning experiences and extra-curricular activities at school, and to engage our partners and the local community in an exciting use of ICT and Media as a learning tool."

"EMS did a superb job of bringing our brief to life, from the vehicle's striking visual appearance, to its adaptable interior layout. They have been great to work with."

The project is the latest in a series of major education projects for custom trailer specialists EMS. Other projects include a GBP200,000 mobile trailer vehicle for Northumberland College, which is being used to deliver training to remote rural communities, and a GBP3 million AimHigher government campaign of event roadshows, to encourage more young people into higher education.

Keith Austin, Managing Director of EMS, said: "It has been a pleasure to work with Stanley Park High School on this project. Mobile classrooms are in ever greater demand, as schools and colleges look to increase capacity without incurring the expense and disruption of a building extension."

"Today's mobile learning centres are hi-tech, comfortable, and extremely adaptable, giving the education sector a versatile and cost-effective option."
