Nowhere is this optimism more keenly felt than at the Colorado Capital Conference, the Rockies Venture Club's annual gathering of over 150 entrepreneurs and investors.
Now in its 22nd year, the CCC is structured around workshops, panel discussions and company presentations to angels and venture capitalists and is the region's premier networking opportunity bringing tomorrow's companies together with today's investors.
"Entrepreneurship is more critical than ever," said Maita Lester, executive director of the RVC. "Small businesses and new companies are creating new jobs and that is what is going to spark economic recovery. The engine for economic recovery rests on the shoulders of entrepreneurs and angel and private investors and the CCC is where that spark is ignited."

PRESENTING COMPANIES: Over 60 business plans were submitted for consideration; six - ten will make final presentations to the angel and private investors at the CCC. Total event registration is expected to be around 250 entrepreneurs, service providers and capital sources.
JEFF HOFFMAN, founder of PRICELINE to give KEYNOTE ADDRESS: Jeff Hoffman is an accomplished entrepreneur and innovator in the fields of Internet, e-commerce, and media/entertainment. Hoffman has founded and grown a series of successful startup companies in his career, raising independent financing for his ventures and guiding his companies to both acquisitions and public offerings. Hoffman currently serves as the CEO of Enable Holdings, Inc., one of the world's leading excess inventory solutions companies.
