Representing the growing number of Environmentally Friendly Home Businesses starting up around the World, Mitchell Dillman, expressed his excitement to have been accepted as one of the 50 participating exhibitors at the 2nd annual event. With over 800 attendees expected from the business community, government, education, military, and the general public, the event will be one of the largest of its' kind in the state and will draw attention to the growing issues of sustainability.
Working with the Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado, event organizers will be conducting a food and coat drive to collect donations for the areas less fortunate. In addition to the exhibitors, event attendees will enjoy the first "State of the Region" address, where leaders will present sustainability in the community. In addition to live entertainment from local band 'Grass it Up', there will be an evening reception featuring keynote speaker Nancy Tuor, of CH2M HILL, and Sustainable Community Awards presented by local leaders.
Additional keynote speakers, presenters, and local entertainment will be on the agenda for the remainder of the event.
