The final iteration of the series features the entrepreneurs you've been following since the beginning as they pitch in-person to the panel of expert judges.

TORONTO, ON, April 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- BrightLane, Toronto's latest, and arguably its coolest cowork facility, continues with the fourth webisode of The BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards. These entrepreneurs pitched their businesses to a panel of judges for membership at the BrightLane cowork space for up to a year, a $15,000 award for the eventual winner, along with the opportunity to meet other like-minded peers, mentors and investors.

The final iteration of the series features the entrepreneurs you've been following since the beginning as they pitch in-person to the panel of expert judges. The winners of the first stage of the series are announced and awarded with Membership to BrightLane. Watch as judges and entrepreneurs share their experiences, knowledge and feelings about the benefits of working in a collaborative environment.

"In some cases, people were able to articulate their business proposition within the minute. In other cases the idea hasn't quite emerged yet," explained Fawn Annan, Chairman at Canadian Channel Chiefs Council. Heather Kelly, Founder of HKC Marketing and Bloor St. Culture Corridor added, "I've really liked some of the ideas people have come to us with. There are some really interesting concepts".

The BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards bring the ethos of the late G. Raymond Chang OC, the founder of BrightLane and co-founder of CI Investments, to the King West entrepreneurial community.

Valarie Fox, Executive Director of Digital Media Zone at Ryerson University and representative of judging panel said, "There is no such thing as failure. Failure just means stopping and an entrepreneur never stops, they just keep going," encouraging all of the entrepreneurs who participated to continue pursuing their initiatives.

George Horhota, President of BrightLane summed up the day by saying, "We saw ideas that were phenomenal and more importantly, we saw collaboration that started right from the very first moment our entrepreneur contestants met each other."

Although this concludes the first stage of the BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards, the contestants will continue to grow their businesses at BrightLane and strive to be one of the five finalists chosen to receive a renewed Membership at BrightLane and compete for the grand prize of $15,000. New webisodes will feature BrightLane Entrepreneur Award winners meeting with mentors and each other, chronicling their progress as they build their business. Stay tuned to stay up-to-date with your favourite competitor's progress.
