LONDON, ENGLAND, May 10, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Esquoia, an early-stage UK tech startup, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to introduce a new revolutionary product - next-generation notebook. It's a reusable notebook with whiteboard features. The notebook kit offers to refresh sketching, drawing and note-making experience. The Esquoia novel notebook employs the necessary tweaks to offer different handwriting experience and catch-up with rapid advancements otherwise happening in the world of technology.
"We are excited, because Esquoia primarily represents a future product features and design. Created with environmental care in mind it is reusable, aiming to reduce the overall wood pulp paper waste. We want this great notebook to be used by everyone. This is a thrilling and exciting moment to make it available for public," briefs start-up co-founder Donatas Beksa.
Esquoia promotes responsibility of learning and memorizing things at the moment of work. Knowing that you will have to erase ideas and notes encourages you to learn without postponing. With all team members standing at the finish line of graduation, founders Valdemar Tunkevic, Donatas Beksa, Boris Livet and Daniel Gonsales Kasas knew that it takes a lot of note-making and creative planning to solve case studies and organize ideas. Therefore, they thought it would be great to have a devoted whiteboard in every classroom on campus. With whiteboards being in fact, scarce, the idea was born to bring flexible whiteboard features to a single desk notebook.
"The very first Esquoia prototype was just a plain sheet of laminated paper. We continued the trial-and-error process with another bunch of paper arranged with a local printing shop on campus, as well as many other producers of paper. Finally, we came up with a smooth, high-quality surface. It provided an exciting and different writing experience," says Valdemar Tunkevic, Esquoia co-founder.
Currently there are two product sets available: Esquoia Notebook and MINI Notebook. It contains 25 inner sheets, plus front and back covers. Notebooks weights around 400g and MINI Notebook - approximately 225g.
Future products are going to include Esquoia notebooks for every possible office and personal need. Some examples of upcoming reuasable products: an innovative reusable calendar notebook, a small-sized pocket notebook and a reporter's pad.
