Ms. Lawson-Pearson has 24 years of experience in nursing. As an LPN for Nurse Power Services Corporation, she is responsible for working with an 11-year-old girl with epilepsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and helping her with schoolwork. Prior to taking on her current position, Ms. Lawson-Pearson worked in geriatrics for 16 years and in pediatrics for eight years. She considers making significant progress with her 11-year-old, who was unable to utter complete sentences six years ago, to be the greatest accomplishment of her career. She attributes her success to her upbringing.

A Licensed Practical Nurse through Dawson Technical Institute, Ms. Lawson-Pearson completed training in Alzheimer's disease. She counts the Children's Cancer Center, Disabled American Veterans and the American Red Cross among her favorite charities. She looks forward to pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
