Prior to entering the field, he obtained a Bachelor of Science from Eastern New Mexico University. In addition to serving with Lockheed, he has also worked for many years as subject matter expert in optical design and engineering manufacturing, as well as optical vendor capabilities, IMINT, space optics, EUV and IR optics.
A shining example of skill in his field, Mr. Cross has earned many awards throughout his career, including a Joint Services Commendation Medal from the Department of Defense and an Air Force Commendation Medal from the U.S. Air Force. Additionally, he has been featured in the 66th through 70th editions of Who's Who in America, and the 32nd and 33rd editions of Who's Who in the World.
