/24-7PressRelease/ - EL CENTRO, CA, February 12, 2008 - Evolution Off Road has launched sales of its new Capacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI) system for the Arctic Cat Prowler.
The company recently completed development and testing of the system which is designed to substantially increase torque and add 6-8 mph in top-end speed to the Prowler. The performance gains are accomplished through an accelerated timing curve and adjustments to the engines revolutions per minute (RPM) limiter. The Performance CDI is compatible with all 2006-08 Arctic Cat Prowlers, with or without the digital dash. It is designed to be a true plug and play performance enhancement and takes less than five minutes to install. The new Performance CDI's are now available for direct ordering from the Evolution Off Road Web site and will be shipped to select Arctic Cat Dealers nationwide beginning February 20.
"It has taken hundreds of hours of programming, dyno-testing and physical testing to complete the development of this product," stated Jeff Sonn, General Manager of Evolution Off Road, LLC.
