LONDON, ENGLAND, October 01, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Ex Googlers, Rizwan Khan and Jonas Espvall have successfully launched their new app "King of Carrom". Three days after launch the duo found their new game had topped the charts in 10 countries in it's category including mature markets like the UK. The app is a multiplayer version of the popular Indian board game, allowing Carrom fans from all over the world to play each other on Android devices.
King of Carrom is the first release from their new game studio, Branch Productions, which will solely focus on producing games for the Asian market. The app is currently available on the Google Play Store and gaining 5 star reviews at a rapid pace.
"The success of the launch surpassed any of our expectations. We are really happy with the results," said Rizwan Khan. "The results in markets such as the UK and Switzerland, clearly show "King of Carroms" appeal beyond it's core regional demographic."
For Jonas Espvall it is a validation of the amount of work they put in. "We didn't want to create any old Carrom game, we wanted to create the definitive Carrom game and I believe we have accomplished that. User experience was key for us, it's not just about the gameplay but also about the journey the players takes and being rewarded for the time they have put into the game. It took us over a year to finally release and that's because of the focus we had on quality, in the end the results speak for themselves."
Branch Productions aim to release more titles over the next few years and aim to become a staple in quality mobile gaming. Download King of Carrom today from the Google Play Store.
