As a finalist, EIM will receive the 2009 Motivation Masters Award in the Wellness Program category. EIM will also be in the running for the Overall Motivation Masters Award, to be presented at the Las Vegas Incentive Marketplace December 7, 2009 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Excellence In Motivation earned this award for supporting "HealthWise—Wellness for Life, an Acushnet Company Associate Initiative" developed by Acushnet Company, manufacturer of Titleist, Cobra, FootJoy and Pinnacle golf products. Program goals are to encourage specific health and fitness behaviors, improve lifestyles and reduce healthcare costs. EIM provided the following incentive services: custom website creation and hosting, online management reporting, participant support and system administration, "Learn 'n Earn" educational reinforcement and monthly award payouts via reloadable prepaid Visa cards.
According to Dave Laclede, EIM's Director, Client Account Management, the HealthWise program continued to generate significant results in 2008. "Acushnet employee participation exceeded 80%, 90% of associates completed healthcare screenings, 73% of associates were actively engaged with a HealthWise coach and mental health medical claim costs decreased by 52%."
