BAD AXE, MI, November 16, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/
-- When Johnny Prill first released this song - then entitled The Holly Jolly Christmas Song - in November 2015, he could not have anticipated the fervor with which it would be received by children. The name change resulted from the reaction of children who heard the song and then repeatedly asked to hear "The Ho Ho Song" played again! From the first time they heard it, children were singing along and dancing to the song's lively beat. It received wonderful reviews during its initial release and DJs were quick to add the song to their playlists.
This year, The Ho Ho Song is featured in a collection: The Holly Jolly Christmas Songs. Prill, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, composed all five songs on the album: The Ho Ho Song; The Old Toy; What is Christmas; Santa's Little Dears; and Birthday Parties, Love, and Red Balloons.
Prill was delighted to see a child dancing along as the The Ho Ho Song was being played on an iPhone. View video clip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkuBkVAI8vw
"The magic of Christmas begins with a child," says Johnny Prill. "I have received a good deal of interest from other artists who are eager to include The Ho Ho Song in their own Christmas releases."
Johnny Prill has received many awards over his long career and his songs have also been featured in numerous publications including Country Weekly, The Las Vegas Weekly, The Detroit News, and The Detroit Free Press. This new album will be a must for children's parties and Christmas celebrations!
The MP3 album is available on Prill's website, along with sheet music and a karaoke backing track for The Ho Ho Song. The album is also available through iTunes and on Amazon.com. Prill hopes to see the song included in Christmas programs across the country.
