The live, call-in format talk show delves into all aspects of dating and romantic relationships, covering a different topic each week.
The topic for discussion on August 28, 2008 will be the alarming increase in obsessive love amongst teens and young adults. Such relationships include stalking behaviors and abuse, and are seen with shocking frequency on college campuses.
Our featured guest will be Detective Mike Proctor, an internationally acclaimed expert in the field of stalking, and author of "How to Stop a Stalker!" A thirty two-year veteran of the Westminster Police Department, Detective Proctor is a recognized expert and pioneer in the investigation of stalkers. Detective Proctor has worked and consulted on over 150 stalking cases, all of which have been successfully prosecuted.
Kristina Powell, is a professional handwriting and facial traits analyst. Owner of a website entitled Smarter Dating, Kristina is also the creator of Character Cards, which are essentially personality profiling flash cards.
"Dating can be fun, but it can also be dangerous" Kristina reports. "I'll discuss five ways to spot someone who has controlling tendencies, a temper, and/or other negative personality traits that may lead to abuse in a relationship."
Other guests will be Candace Watson, author of "Ice", a fictionalized account of a young woman that escapes a violent, abusive relationship. We'll also have representatives from the National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline, an organization which focuses on education and prevention of teen dating violence.
One in 12 women and one in 45 men will be stalked at some time in their life! This broadcast will address and respond to questions such as:

• What physical and personality may indicate violent or obsessive traits?
