/24-7PressRelease/ -- In conjunction with the Lopes family, Mass Appeal Entertainment has released "Eye Legacy." Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes' posthumous release is filled with 12 unreleased tracks alongside re-tooled songs from the limited edition international release, Supernova (2001).
"Eye Legacy" is a personal collection of creative testaments from one of music's most well-known female artists. "Eye Legacy" boasts an amazing compilation of special collaborations from some of music's biggest stars, along with new vocals from Left Eye.
The first single "Let's Just Do It" is an infectious and empowering anthem featuring Lopes' former TLC group members as well as female rap icon, Missy Elliott. Rap teen sensation, Lil Mama joins Lopes for a new version of "Block Party," a track previously featured on Lopes' "Supernova" album, released in 2001. Other artists featured on the album include Chamillionaire (Ridin' Dirty/Hip Hop Police), R&B crooner Bobby Valentino (Slow Down), and Free (106 & Park).
"We hope people understand the message in Lisa's music and appreciate her as not just a member of TLC, but as a solo artist as well. This album is Left Eye's musical gift to her fans and adds to the beauty of her legacy," the Lopes family states.
The new disc includes exclusive bonus material with never-before-seen intimate video footage from Left Eye's final days. Furthermore, as a tribute to the late rapper's humanitarian efforts, a percentage of proceeds from album sales will support the Lisa Lopes Foundation and her orphanage in Honduras.
