Singer-songwriter and producer Brian Wilson received NAMM's highest honor, the Music for Life Award for his musical impact and contributions over the course of more than 50 years. Joe Lamond, president & CEO of NAMM conducted a stage Q&A with the Beach Boys icon. Guitarist John Mayer demonstrated and announced a new music partnership with a long-time NAMM member company; the last surviving member of The Mamas & The Papas, Michelle Phillips, received a special tribute and will perform; blues rocker and singer-songwriter Kenny Wayne Shepherd performed and introduced a new Guitar World music app.; strong NAMM supporter and gifted bass player, former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee discussed his love of music and the importance of playing music.
