Ms. Tripptree brings 12 years of experience in special education to Avalon Gardens, renowned in the area for being one of only a handful of facilities to offer long-term healthcare in the field of pediatrics. An expert in educating people with autistic spectrum disorders, she is tasked with caring for residents, coordinating with therapists, writing reports on residents' progress, and providing professional guidance to tutors and contact teachers. A former special education teacher, she is able to utilize her professional experience in developing and directing the educational PETAL program and in collaborating with administrators of various districts to implement special education programs and ensure that the educational needs of residents are met. Ms. Tripptree finds deep personal fulfillment in raising professionals' awareness of the needs of cognitively disabled students and in promoting their ultimate success.
