Family Promise to Warm the Winter

Nonprofit celebrates 14th annual fundraiser

DENVER, CO, November 04, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Family Promise of Greater Denver is hosting its annual Warming Ways For Winter Thursday evening, Nov. 10.

The seasonal event will honor hundreds of volunteers who support families experiencing homelessness in our community. The occasion will also recognize the nonprofit's 19 years of history through a soup dinner, silent auction and paddle raiser.

"We look forward to this event as an opportunity to truly celebrate the volunteers and congregations who feed, shelter, transport and care for our neighbors in need," said Executive Director Allie Card. "Warming Ways For Winter is also one of our largest fundraisers and a crucial support to our ability to serve an average of 70 families every year."

Warming Ways For Winter will be held at Temple Emanuel Denver at 51 Grape St. Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the silent auction as well as appetizers, beer and wine. The soup dinner, volunteer recognition and paddle raiser will begin at 7 p.m.

Event tickets are $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight. Companies can also sponsor a table for $500, which offers promotional opportunities before and after the event. Registration closes Nov. 7: Call 303.675.0713 or visit FamilyPromiseOfGreaterDenver.org to learn more!
