The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce To Offer Online Events to Members
/24-7PressRelease/ - SARASOTA, FL, September 03, 2006 - Fast Pitch!, the no-nonsense business networking company that pioneered speed networking around the United States and recently launched the first-of-it's kind ONLINE networking event and Lead Exchange system, announced today that it will facilitate ONLINE events for the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce represents over 6,000 member companies and the Philadelphia community at large. Over 88% of the Chamber's members are small businesses who rely on local events and word-of-mouth to promote their business.
The innovative Fast Pitch ONLINE event is changing the way small businesses promote themselves by combining web-cast technology and the Internet to allow professionals the ability to spread the word about their business to more people in less time and at a fraction of the cost. To attend the events, professionals create a Fast Pitch Profile which basically serves as a single-page resume for their business. During the event, a facilitator displays the profile to all of the attendees while each person takes a turn making a 3-minute "pitch" while on a conference call line. Fifteen people typically attend the one-hour event.
