/24-7PressRelease/ -- The father/daughter team decided to write these stories for the readers who have wondered what else takes place among the cosmos of the Spiral Galaxy, the fictional galaxy in where the adventures take place. All of the stories involve alien creatures, whereas the genesis of the series has always surrounded the humans and their lives. "I've always wanted to write a story about alien protectors with a secret past," Ms. Johnson has done so with the creation of her Deltorian Warriors and the adventures they embark on.
"Spreading the word about his science fiction novel has been no easy task says the Philadelphia native, my family and I have traveled to sci-fi conventions and book fairs in New York City, Dallas Texas, Charleston, West Virginia and cities in between. Wherever we go the people have always been great and receptive. With the creation of a new character Intergalactic Detective Da'Quan, I hope to reach more science fiction fans," says Mr. Johnson.
Realizing that his personal appearances do not give them nearly enough exposure the 2012 science fiction authors have a huge online presence. In addition to the usual website, blog, and social sites like Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter Mr. Johnson has five Escape 2 Earth book trailers with a combined total of hits that exceeds one million. Still the authors feels that in order to gain the necessary exposure Escape 2 Earth must reach the big screen before the expiration date of December 21, 2012.
"Seeing the movie 2012, gives me hope that movie producers would take an interest in my novel, when I released Escape 2 Earth in 2006, very few people knew about the 2012 theories, now that I know there's a growing interest in the topic, I feel as though my chances are higher. My story is very different from 2012 the movie, it's not all doom and gloom in fact it's ending leaves you with hope for a more optimistic future. I realize that getting the movie made is a long shot but I have always believed that you have to go after what you want in life. It's a great story and once it gets into the right hands it will sell it's self." Mr. Johnson adds.

While growing up in South Philadelphia, from Doctor Who to Star Trek Lawrence has always been drawn to the world of science fiction. He is currently working on his third novel Earth 2: Redemption.
While growing up in West Oak Lane, Lauren took interest in the many science fiction series, such as Roswell, The Tomorrow People, Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and more recently Twilight. She is currently working on her first novel The Quest to Save Xanar.
