With over 34 years of Federal service, Ms. Posey has been in her current position with the AO for eight years. As a human resources specialist, she utilizes her people management skills for staffing and recruiting personnel for the AO. Before attaining her current position, she served as a personnel assistant for seven years and then a personnel management specialist for four years. Prior to her work with the U.S. Courts, she worked for the U.S. Department of Labor, where she started as a secretary and then acquired a position as a personnel assistant. Ms. Posey considers her current position as human resources specialist to be her greatest accomplishment.

Ms. Posey believes that the most important issue facing the human resources industry is the transition to the use of automated services, a trend she has seen firsthand in her own workplace. She stays informed of other trends in her industry by continuing her education. Her goals include starting a staffing unit. A local youth president at her church, she attributes her success to her nature to treating others the way she would like to be treated.
