At the Shawnee Mountain Rodeo & Chili Cook off, professionals from the First Frontier Circuit and the WPRA will compete for prize money in Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Bareback Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Calf Roping, Bull Dogging and women's Barrel Racing. There will also be country line dancing, a country western vendor's bazaar, and a Hickory Licks Barbecue. Slopeside seating will be available so bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the Shawnee Mountain Rodeo. Gates open at 11:30 am daily with a 2:00 pm Rodeo show time. The new chili addition to the event runs from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm daily and gives guests the chance to sample a variety of chili recipes and then cast their own vote for the best chili in the region.
