Fido Finder Reunites Family Friends

HOUSTON, TX, June 13, 2007 24-7PressRelease -- Two dogs lost for more than 48 hours were reunited with their owner thanks to the lost dog website, FidoFinder.com. Houston resident Misty Krengle was skeptical of the website's ability to find her lost dogs. In the end, Fido Finder turned out to be the key to bringing her dogs home. A promise to her son to hang lost dog posters around their neighborhood led Krengle to the Fido Finder website. As one of it's free services, Fido Finder allows lost dog owners to print customized posters after registering their dog on the site. Krengle registered her lost dogs with Fido Finder in order to print these posters. Fido Finder also alerts registered users when dogs with matching descriptions are added to the site. Before Krengle even finished printing the signs, she received an email from Fido Finder about two dogs whose descriptions matched her lost dogs. "I registered my two dogs that had been lost over 48 hours so I could print out the signs, and before I finished printing the signs out, I received an email stating my dogs had been found. I couldn't believe it. I never even posted the signs," explained Krengle. Krengle's two dogs, a Labrador Retriever and a Saint Bernard, had been missing for more than two days. She had searched high and low for the two dogs but had come up empty. The two dogs are now safe at home and Fido Finder has another believer.
