DOVER, DE, February 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Helena Domenic, a known artist and Professor of Fine Art at Cheney University in Pennsylvania, is preparing to open her first show in Baltimore Md. At the Dead End Gallery in Fells Point.

While she is mostly known in the Delmarva area as a Fantasy Artist, she has begun to work more with Abstracts. The Dead End will be featuring these abstract watercolors beginning March 6th at 5:30 pm.

"I'm always fascinated by the fantasy, and I will continue my work in that genre." says Domenic, who is currently putting together both new and favorite pieces for a Tarot Deck to be released soon. "However, I can't ignore one calling of my craft for another, so I finally had to play with abstract art as well." And it's paying off for her, since her abstract art has gotten the attention of many collectors already. Eva Nelson, an art enthusiast and a Baltimore resident was there when Domenic brought her portfolio to the Dead End. "Helena is a fascinating individual with a refreshing belief in rebirth, the belief that we have the opportunity to give birth to ourselves over and over again as we go through changes in our lives and carries this theme to her works. I look forward to seeing and feeling the powerful inspiration of this message hanging on my wall." said Ms. Nelson as she claimed several paintings for her own then and there.

Her abstracts are somewhat floral, with vivid colors and definite lines. Much like her fantasy pieces, her paintings call upon creation to invoke feelings of enthusiasm, hope, and optimism.

The Dead End Saloon and Gallery is located at 935 Fell Street in Baltimore, Maryland. The Helena Domenic exhibit will be unveiled at 5:30 pm on March 6.
