    HELSINKI, FINLAND, December 09, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- FINE-Magazines has in just over two years gone past its competitors on all accounts and measures, and become the world's leading publication focused on fine and rare wines.
When compared with all wine publications, by the end of 2008 FINE will be the biggest publication in the segment in Europe and will rise to the company of the biggest four on the world scale.

The combined volume of FINE-Magazines this year exceeds 550 000 copies, which are distributed through German and British companies to over 50 countries. The circulation comprises of six separate magazines: American, German, European, Finnish and Scandinavian FINE Wine Magazine, as well as the new, worlds only Champagne Magazine and later in German, and FINE Wine Investing Magazine, which is launched in late spring 2009 in Hong Kong.

The magazines are published by Fine Publishing Helsinki Ltd (est. 2005), which specialises in titles on fine and rare wines. FINE are luxury magazines that focus on one per mille of world's population. FINE-Magazines write exclusively about fine and rare wines and luxury life-style.

FINE founder and Editor-in-Chief Pekka Nuikki credits the multilevel development work FINE has done in Finland as the enabler of success on the world market.

Editors of FINE are Mr. Juha Lihtonen (American, European, and Scandinavian FINE Wine Magazine), Mr Juha Jormanainen (Finnish FINE), Ms. Essi Avellan MW (FINE Champagne Magazine), and Mr. Thomas Schoder (German FINE Wine Magazine).

On top of FINE-Magazines, Fine Publishing also publishes books for wine enthusiasts. The books focus solely on fine and rare wines, as all FINE publications do, and are published in English and German.

FINE has developed a unique FINE Wine Bar concept, which has aroused great international interest. FINE Wine Bar makes tasting the fine and rare wines that have been featured in the magazine possible. The first FINE Wine Bar was opened in February 2008 at Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport and its popularity has exceeded all expectations. FINE Wine Bar is the only bar in the world to offer fine vintage wines by the glass.
