/24-7PressRelease/ - SAN ANTONIO, TX, June 14, 2007 - Pixdle.com - The Billion (http://www.pixdle.com), the first pixel advertising portal to offer one billion pixels worth of advertising space, is auctioning off on eBay what is set to be the first ever full one million pixel ad sold on a pixel advertising website.

Pixdle launched in May of 2007 and set out on its journey to be the first to fill one billion pixels worth of advertising space. So far, advertisers have claimed over 275,000 pixels.

The auction received its first bid of $1.00 on Monday June 11, 2007. The space would usually sell for $10,000 or $0.01 per pixel. Pixdle says that the ad will enjoy all of the same benefits as any other ad on its site. These benefits include free entries in all Pixdle advertiser payback drawings, a commitment to be online and fully editable until December 31, 2020, and the ability to be leased or sold once all billion pixels are claimed. Additional benefits that this ad will receive include being featured on the Pixdle 'Whose Bought A Million' list and rights to the claim of being the first ever one million pixel ad on any pixel advertising site.

Pixdle owner Brad Martindale says, "My biggest road block so far has been getting people to look past the perceived negativity of pixel advertising long enough to give the site a chance. It has many other features and benefits than the traditional pixel advertising site does not. I can write about these features and benefits all day long but the only way for people to truly understand is for them to experience them for themselves".

Pixdle stands to take a revenue hit on the auction of the million as it may not sell for any more than the currently offered $1 bid. Brad expresses a hope that the million pixel ad will ignite a buzz about the website in the marketplace and people will come to see the largest pixel ad ever sold. Brad continues with, "If I can get people to visit Pixdle.com and experience what the site has to offer, I think they'll keep coming back over and over again to use the service and accumulate entries in the many cash drawings."
