DETROIT, MI, April 25, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Austin, Texas-based Nexersys is leading a fitness and gaming revolution with the launch of their "King of the Ring" Kickstarter campaign. The cutting-edge fitness company hopes to raise $150,000 by May 11, 2013 to begin production of their boxing video game, "King of the Ring." This is the first arcade game that puts gamers into a virtual fighting ring and allows them to test their boxing and MMA skills by throwing real strikes and making contact with a real target. Gamers can say goodbye to the mundane button pushing of past fighting games and say hello to throwing strikes with their fists, elbows and knees.
"King of the Ring" not only tests gamers' virtual fighting skills - but also connects gamers to a virtual community in which they compete for boxing titles worldwide.
Contributors to the Kickstarter project can gain rewards ranging from up to 40,000+ free game play credits for up to two years, personal avatar creation, their very own arcade game unit, or logo placement in the game.
We're excited to announce the development our arcade game, "King of the Ring," by launching a crowd funding campaign through Kickstarter," said Terry G. Jones CEO, Nexersys. "We introduced innovative technology into the fitness space and we're doing the same in the arcade space. Gamers will be blown away with the ability to physically get into the game."
Nexersys has already proven their fitness machines to be successful in the exercise market, and now due to popular demand from its customers, created an unparalleled arcade product. They've partnered with Betson Enterprises, the largest distributor of coin-operated amusement games and vending and CGBot, a digital media development studio who has extensive experience in video game production and has worked on many acclaimed projects.
