Over 70 people were in attendance to celebrate the past year and honor eight award winners. "It was an awesome night, full of emotion and passion, it was terrific to get everyone in in one room and recognize the best of 2011", said Benjie Moser, Area Director for Fitness Together Massachusetts.
The awards went as follows.
Rookie of the Year- Derek Maxfield, Beverly, Ma
Most Improved- Jessica Phanuef, Amherst, Ma
Franchisee of the Year- Tom Lavoie, Reading, Ma
Managers of the Year- Paula Elbert, Belmont, Ma and Dawn Squier, Wayland and Sudbury, Ma
Diamond Excellence (10 years of ownership)-
Josh Rosenfeld, Sudbury and Radovan Serbula, Brookline, Ma
Franchisee award winner Jessica Phaneuf discussed what it means to be a Fitness Together owner "It is such a honor to be a part of this organization. I'm excited to share the award with my employees. We are all proud to be able to make a difference in people's lives."
