After accumulating more than 12 years of successful training and consulting with 1,000s of private clients, public school districts, and education service centers, Focus Special Education, LLC opened a new private school for special education, entitled Focus on the Future Training Center in August of 2006 for special needs children training and education in Texas.
Their strategy is to offer specialized training designed to help children with special needs better adapt to our society. Without specialized intervention and training, our society is often times too complex and confusing for your special needs child to function in ways that are considered socially acceptable. They offer specialized training and consulting services in independent skills training that include:

FOCUS is now accepting applications for the next session and offers a total communications environment for special needs children, in Plano, Texas from ages Pre-K to 12th Grade.
FOCUS is a private school for special education that offers a diverse approach, using highly individualized techniques, to teach new skills to children with special needs in Texas. We work in the comfort of your home and familiarity of the school environment to create specialized programs designed to help your child excel. FOCUS Special Education, LLC was formed in year 1996, by Brenda M. Batts, after having completed over nine years of successful practice as an individual consultant for both Round Rock Independent School District and Plano Independent School District. Today, we still support the PISD and children within several other North Texas school districts, by providing in-home, parent, and classroom training for individuals affected with autism, downs syndrome, aspergers, mental retardation, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities.
