    TROIS-RIVIERES, QC, June 25, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "I was addicted to shrooms, PCP, and heroin - I was really curious about heroin, once I found that, that was it." Sabrina explained part of her drug history to Narconon in an interview recorded this month. The Narconon drug rehab program has put together a sixty-second drug rehab video clip of the interview with Sabrina and her younger sister. Living homeless and having run away from home, Sabrina had seen hard-core heroin addicts at their worst. When asked if she ever though she would end up like that, she said: "I didn't put two and two together, I didn't think that would ever be me, that was just the way they were." The emotional interview given tells the story of a former heroin junkie, now 11 years clean, and how her addiction affected her life and the life of her family.

Giving a in-depth look, Sabrina's younger sister tells us about what she saw and how her sisters addiction affected her family. "I was more very sad about it all," says her sister in the interview, "she wasn't there, I didn't really understand it." At the point where Sabrina's life was going nowhere and she was living homeless in Toronto, Ontario she was given a choice to attend a drug rehab program. When asked how Sabrina felt about change and attending treatment, she said in the interview: "Not at first, not at all. I had no interest in changing who I was. I was actually quite scared of changing. I didn't want to become someone else, because I thought that is what would happen, that I would not be who I am." Sabrina went on to say: "I wasn't interested in rehabs, I wasn't even interested in coming off drugs. To me there wasn't a problem - I was just really sad about what I did to my parents."

Sabrina attended the Narconon drug rehab program in 1998, and has been clean from drugs ever since. We asked where she saw the change in her self along the program, and she said: "Somewhere along the sauna program. The staff at the time is what really got me through and interested, because they weren't judgmental. They didn't put me down and they really cared, when I said something they listened. That really helped to keep me there." The Narconon drug rehab program will release the full-length video interview in the coming days.
