FORT WORTH, TX, February 04, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hundreds of Fort Worth couples will find out exactly how much they love and trust each other this Valentine's weekend, thanks in part to Allan Sturgeon, the diabolical mastermind behind Hangman's House of Horror's Fifty Shades of Fear Blindfold Challenge.

In the challenge one member of a couple dons a blindfold and relies on their better half to guide them safely through the dangers that lurk inside Hangman's House of Horrors, the world's largest haunted house for charity.

"Without your sight, your other five senses grow sharper," says Sturgeon. "The creak of a floorboard, the sound of a coffin opening, or the hum of a chainsaw all have a multiplied fear factor when you're blindfolded," he added.

Fifty Shades of Fear will be open to brave souls from 7 p.m. to midnight on both Friday, February 13, and Valentine's Day. The first 100 couples each night will receive a custom-made box of chocolates courtesy of Schakolad Chocolates. Every couple gets a blindfold to keep and access to Zombie Outbreak and 3D Wonderland.

Admission is $25 per person or $40 for couples. A $5 discount coupon is available by email for signing up at Hangmans.com. Tickets can be purchased at the Hangman's site. Recorded information about "50 Shades of Fear" and volunteering to be a cast member is available by calling (817) 336-HANG (3426).The event is sponsored by Pepsi and 95.9 FM The Ranch is a media partner.
